Saving is EASY - just follow a few simple tips!

Tip #1 - Buy What's On Sale and Stock Up!
If you will shop the ads and stock your pantry and freezer at the lowest sale prices you will save at least 40% without ever clipping  a coupon. Grocery stores spend hundreds of thousands of dollars every week to promote various items - some are at a great discount others are - well, let's say they may not be such a great bargain. In today's world few of us have the time to sort through the ads and keep tabs on the prices. Ads & Bargains tracks the sales and provides you with an easy to use Shopping Wizard to find the very best deals!
Statistic: 80% of all sale items go on sale at least once every 60 days!

Tip #2 - Buy What's Really On Sale

Not all of the items being advertised have been discounted. In fact some items advertised may have actually been marked up. The trick is to identify and stock up on the items that are on sale at prices 40% to 70% of their regular price. Most families can do this 70-80% of th time.
Statistic: 20% of the items advertised are not on sale!

Tip #3 - Use a Price Index or Price Book
The best grocery shoppers use what's called a Price Book. They keep track of prices and when the prices drop they stock up. It's that easy. If you don't have the time to keep a Price Book then use The Shopping Wizard! The Shopping Wizard can find the best values in just seconds!
Statistic: 80% of all items go on sale with a savings of at least 40%!

Tip #4 - To Coupon or Not to Coupon?
Do coupons really save you money? Are they worth the time? The answer is - Yes! and Yes! You can save a lot of money with coupons - but there is a trade off. If must have a coupon indexing system or it is just noy worth your time. With Ads & Bargains can get a return on your investment - both in time and money. Since we do the indexing, matching and tracking you only need to clip the needed coupons prior to your shop.
Statistic: Average Coupon Value $0.85  Average Life - 90 days.

Tip #5 - Take More than ONE Copy of the Sunday Paper
Grocery coupons come from the Sunday paper and online coupon sites. If you are going to coupon then let's do it right! Take at least two copies of the Sunday paper - more for larger families. If you find a couopon that you are going to use you are going to wish you had two - maybe more. As for a return on your investment -the return on your Sunday paper will be ten-fold. Instead of only one or two coupons being used per paper - with Ads & Bargains you will use $5-$10 in coupons from each paper. The return on your paper is over 1000%!
Statistic: Each week there is an average of $100 in grocery coupons in your Sunday paper.

Tip #6 - Pantry Planning - Not Meal Planning
Some programs try to plan your meals around the items that are on sale each week. You will find such programs come up short on several fronts including budget, variety and nutrition. If you shop to fill your pantry and then plan your meals from what's on the pantry shelf you will have better balance to your meals, greater variety and spend a lot less and won't be buying high priced items to compliment what's on sale. The most powerful way to save is to buy the items that are on sale and eat what is in the pantry. Within just a few weeks of being on the program you will find that your pantry has literally become your own mini grocery store - stocked at prices far below what you thought possible. My kids love coming home from school to a well stocked pantry - and I enjoy it as much as they do!
Statistic: It takes the average family 6-8 weeks to stock their pantry before they see their bill go down!

Tip #7 - Use the Ads & Bargains Ratings

Each week prior to going shopping review the Shopping Wizard to locate the items that are on sale at the best prices (remember to select only items that you and your family use and that you have room to store). Items that are on sale at a discount of 60% or more are highlighted in bold in the Index. Be sure and stock up on these items if you can use them. Whenver possible select the rest of your items from the five and four star ratings. These items are on sale at 40% of the suggested retail price or more. Almost all items  in the grocery store go on sale sometime in a recurring cycle of two to four months.
Statistic: Once your pantry is stocked your bill will go down by 40%!

Tip #8 - Shop Your Favorite Store
As a rule there isn't much gained by shopping several stores in the same week. All stores go through the sales cycles and the lowest prices are identical between stores. Even though the standard or suggested prices on the shelves vary from store to store the sales prices all hit the same competitive low points.
Statistic: Local store sale prices are 50% lower than warehouse and supercenter shelf prices!

Tip #9 - Use Ads & Bargains Price Matching Labels!
Here is a real time and money saving tip for Wal-Mart Shoppers. If you are not price matching you are spending twice as much at Wal-Mart as you will spend shopping the sales at Albertsons, Smiths or Maceys. To save money at Wal-Mart you HAVE TO PRICE MATCH. This can be very time consuming unless you use the Price MAtching labels provided as part of Ads & Bargains.

Tip #10 - Coupons can save you even more!
Coupons can offer a tremendous additional savings, especially for young couples, students and the elderly. Ads & Bargains indexes the coupons from the Sunday Paper and matches them with the items on sale. Ask your Ads & Bargains Representative how to use the Ads & Bargains Coupon Indexing Program for an additional savings on your groceries.

Tip #11 - Stay With It
The benefits will be dramatic and come quickly. When you first begin stocking up you will not see much of a savings to your monthly grocery bill. What you will see is more and more food in your pantry. After a few short weeks you will find yourself with a stocked pantry and your grocery bill will now begin to decrease as you reach a balancing point between stocking and usage. Stay with the plan and you will see hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in savings.
