I received my prototype today. She is not near mint but PERFECT in my eyes. Her hair is gorgeous, she smells wonderful and is the nicest prototype I have ever seen. Thank you again for a wonderful doll. I will always be a customer of yours!

Thanks for the great web page info. Pulled out my #1 Chatty and Chatty Babby/Cathy Bedspread. Need info about repairing her. She fell off a foot stool Christmas day and stopped talking. Didn't belief in returning things back then. Still had many fun times w/her.

From MaryBeth on 2005-02-06 18:28:47:
Well, I am proud to say I have adopted all of Chatty Cathy's friends, Crissy, Velvet and Cinnamon which is who I received first. The doll was printine, wrapped ever so carefully by someone who really, truly cares for these dolls. I am now on a mission to find a Chatty Cathy, one similar to one I had growing up. With the help of ChattyCathy Talks, I know I will find that one doll meant to be once again. Thank you for all your help, Thank you for being such a kind and honest seller and most off all Thank you for being a gentle, heart felt person......

I had a Brunette Chatty Cathy when I was a little girl that had brown eyes and a pink dress with apron/red shoes. My mother had made an entire box of beautiful clothes for her. She sold them in a garage sale a few years later without my knowing and I was heartbroken. I have a holiday Chatty Cathy now that looks a lot like her but never got over losing the one I had as a child and especially all those lovely clothes my mother had made her.

I bought a chatty cathy doll for a dollar in a garage sale. I remember my sister having one years ago. She is a 1963 doll and I was quite happy with this treasure.

From sandra kaye on 2004-06-28 19:18:27:
luv your site; i was born in 1952 but most of my dolls were generic as i grew up poor and mama did the best she could.............i remember seeing ads for tiny tears, betsy wetsy, toodles, and of course the chatty cathy and charmin chatty-----the were great but i always wanted a ballerina doll from tatum's toy world or cullen's play pen in jackson ms

I love your website. I had a Chatty as a little girl. It is the only doll I have memories of. I just received one for Christmas. I interested in learning all I can about my Chatty.

From Cathy Windfield-Jones on 2003-10-21 16:35:28:
I received my Chatty Cathy Doll from the Bozo TV show for sending in a safety tip. It was one of the greatest highlights from my childhood. It was a #5 with blonde hair and blue eyes, just like me. I drove my family crazy pulling her cord and my older brother got so sick of me pulling the cord that he broke her. I no longer have the orginal doll but I have many memories playing with her like she was my little sister.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful Chatty Cathy's with all of us.

From Rose Willis on 2003-09-10 00:21:04:

This is the best website I have ever seen! I am thrilled to know there are people like you out there taking care of our dolls. I was born in 58 and got my 1st Cathy when I was 4. She looked exactly like me! She was a brunette with blue eyes and although she talked of course she wasn't as chatty as me! My whole family had fun teasing me and I have always been known to them as the origanal chatty Cathy. P.S. I still have all of my freckles, my two front teeth and all of my original hair!

From sylvia on 2003-07-02 23:10:28:
I had a Chatty Cathy doll when, I was about 7 years old, she was beautiful I remember my dad and mom could not really afford to buy me one at that time, but they some how managed. She was a redhead, with a red and white dress. I which my mother would have saved it for me, it was the only doll I ever had and loved, now that I am
older, I think about her, but I know I could never afford to get one, with my husband's heart
condition I know it would be impossible. I will always keep her in my heart, that doll was very dear to me, when I would play with her I would not feel lonely, she would always make me laugh!!
I will for always thank you, for having this to see! Sincerely, Love Sylvia

My mother was very young when she had her first chatty cathy doll. She always said how much she loved her doll, and now I want to find her an original one like she had to show her how much I love her. Thanks for keeping chatty cathy dolls around.

Hi,
What a great web page. I was wondering, do you also clean and dress Singing Chatties? I bought one on ebay and they say the hair is a little dry, can that be fixed? Thanks...MARY
